Socio-Technical Scenarios for the Finnish Clean Hydrogen Transition

There are several scenarios and roadmaps to envision the diverse hydrogen futures, while little emphasis has been placed on social considerations or justice aspects of the transition. To bridge this gap, the JustH2Transit project created five (5) sociotechnical scenarios, each outlining possible future trajectories for the Finnish clean hydrogen transition.

Bachelor’s thesis published related to JustH2Transit

Bachelor’s thesis by Jenni Iso-Oja discusses the greenhouse gas emissions of two different hydrogen production technologies over their lifetime. Both technologies are covered in a few different scenarios. The emissions of hydrogen production give insight into how the green hydrogen transition should be realized. The research related to hydrogen production emissions is continued and several technologies are compared to gain a more comprehensive understanding.
